Have you ever thought that google images of scenery are fake or they are edited way too much?
I was invited by a dear friend of mine to Croatia. I have never heard of that country before but immediately I said yes. So the first thing I did was I googled Croatia, there were many images of this park called Plitvice Lakes. The pics showed the crystal clear lakes and stunning waterfalls. It was also stated in Cool Hunters as the top 10 places to visit.
Then I got a bit excited seeing the awesome photos taken by tourist and visitors. But I still kept wondering if the place is as breathtaking as the pictures.

The first day was all about exploring Zadar. Day two, I had to wake up bout six something in the morning. Then got picked up from Zadar to Plitvice. Reach Plitvice two hours later. Bought our tickets and then we started our journey.
Lots of 'not allowed this and that' signs. For example, not allowed to swim. But surprisingly, visitors are allowed to bring doggies but dogs must be on a leash. Seeing the doggies here so well behaved and happy made me wished that dogs in Msia are treated like that. Other than that, I even saw parents pushing baby strollers in the park. Super brave lo. Btw for your info, the whole journey of the park is about six hours plus.
Meet Mr Coby, the bright yellow model. Apparently, he is very poisonous and it could kill me.
Apparently, the water is sweeter in Plitvice.
So were the pics on google real?
I have to say Plitvice is as wonderful as the images I saw in google. I really saw real crystal blue lakes which i wish I could just jump into the lake and swim around and probably catch some fishes. lol. Everything here is too much for me to describe. Despite the wet weather, everything here is just too awesome!
I was blessed to be able to visit Croatia with a few of my friends. It is the most beautiful country I have ever visited and honestly I cannot even stop talking about how awesome Croatia is. Thankfully the hostels we stayed were really nice, clean and cheap too. This trip is definitely one of my most memorable place I have ever visited.
Last post of Croatia sooniee.
