So anywayz chopchop snip snip.. What happen last weekend in d Uk?

SNOW!

Seriously, I did not think that I am gonna see thick snow. Apparently the last time that snow here was last last year (Now, 2010) when I was still back in Msia. This time I have only seen light snow, snowflakes, like what JonJon calls it, "dandruff falling from the sky" and frozen icy grass that nearly killed me. I actually was so drunk once I tripped and fell on that ugly frozen grass and cut my hand.

and last Saturday, when I was online, I saw a very common status on Fb and Twitter, "It's Snowing" and so I look outside. Thick snow was falling down from the sky. People screaming and yelling and throwing snowballs everywhere. I could see people making snowman and weirdly odd creatures.

That night itself, I had a Birthday party to attend. Sadly, I could not wear dresses and heels for that night. So jeans and bootsthis time. As much as I wanted to get playful and wet in the snow, I still had to try to keep myself clean and looking good for the night. As I came out of my house...

I have to admit I have been travelling for quite a bit all my life but I have never been to a snowy country before. So here is the first and it definitely took my breath away.

Then I walk to my friend's place, which took me bout 10 to 15 minutes. By the time I reach there, my hair was all wet and sticky and covered with snow. My makeup was ruined and my fur coat looked like porcupine.

We had some drinks first like usual and then we were off to the Forum. As we get out of the house, it was snowball fight time!! Screw how we look cause we were all too drunk to realize what was happening.

The last weekend, I went down to Birmingham for godskitchen rave partay. It was held at custard factory. Had an awesome time besides the transportation part. Never in my life I had to run up and down to catch the train, looking for cabs and walking & running like mad during winter. Somemore i was running in wedge! Imagine how silly I look like. I HATE rushing! and no surprise we did miss a couple trains. Thanks to my horrible planning on trains timing. I swear this is the last time that I will ever ever purchase train tickets. ish.. but it was all good. got a decent hotel for d night, in time for the partay, went to the Chritmas market and I came back home safely.

Came back to the hotel bout 3. Was super exhausted till I was dehydrated. *i even drank unboiled water from the sink* ewwww.. Luckily, seven of us manage to stay in a room. Besides that I was told I slept like a pig. Took most of the bed space and I was moving and kicking the rest on the bed. Oooopsss. Some girls just loves her sleep kay! haha

Then the next day, we went around Birmingham. Touring in da little city yo. Lil carnival, food, lots of food! They even have kangaroo meat!

just wanna show you my latest uni project. I've got to cook dinner soon so I am gonna keep this post short on words and lots of pics.

Project is bout an installation art for a chosen gallery.

its a long story bout the idea and etc but here is my 3d rendering of the installation. Followed by my mock up that nearly killed me. why? cause materials cost a bom here and i have lots of issues with workshop. dont ask why. uni issues..

I am back again.

I went to Nottingham Uni for d Malaysian Sports day yesterday. Pretty surprise at the amount of Malaysian students that are studying in d Uk. and NO i didnt take part in d games. My uni was not even one of the unis that participated. Just went there for the funfun and the nasi lemak!!

it was a pretty long travel. two hour train ride from London to Nottingham. Luckily the train is pretty comfy.

and i've got Breakfast in the train!

Chicken bacon avocado and lots of peas salad and coffee from Pret A Manger. Definitely one of my favourite salads that I have tried here. I used to hate peas but now I am liking it. I actually finish all the green peas. Me very good girl ei..

Hallo loves, just wanna show you a lil uni project I did some time ago.

actually only one of the chess pieces shown there is mine. Guess which??

Honestly, I drew the design before i thought it look like the queen of hearts.

It is pretty cool how that chess piece was created. First i design a 3d model using a Cad software. Head down to this workshop which have crazy machines that I am scared of.

Then send the 3D design to the computer that connects to this "MAGIC MACHINE"

why magic machine? cuz its so cool it does not print out papers but it prints out 3D MODELs! Im serious shit. whoever invented this magic is a freakin GENIUS.

and then

tada...

Not too hard to guess mine right. haha.

Anyway more coming soon..

Halloween party is tomorrow night!

me excites! i can't wait to play dress up and party all night long.

I even made my own neck piece just for the night. and NO! im not dressing up as a minimouse or some harry potter character.

and did I mention supermarkets and gift shops here are the nicest place to shop during halloween period. They sell really cute accessories that I had to try everything. I ended up buying things that are not necessary.

and btw people who are reading this and you happen to stay near by my place, please lock your doors! my housemate just got robbed last night. Two guys threaten him asking him if he has weed and took his wallet and phone and ask him to bring them to his home to check if he has a lappy and any valuable goods. I was sleeping by that time when they came. Another of my housemate saw and called the security police. But when the police arrive, the two guys ran away.

Back to my guessing game. Found out what college is that?

It is Oxford's most spectacular College. 'CHRIST CHURCH'

Remember Hogwarts?

Some of the scenes in the HARRY POTTER feature films are shot in various locations of the College.

Hogwarts staircase! The moving staircase. Remember that incident in the movie?

Kinda irony, last week my friends were teasing me that I look and dress like one of the characters from the movie Harry Potter and here I am in where Hogwarts was film.

Besides that, I was not suppose to be inside this college. A few of my friends and me was asking the ticket booth "how much was the tour inside the halls and chapels" we were curious how Hogwarts really look like. Then they said it was 7 pounds but we had to wait till 2.30 p.m for the tour and to the entry of the halls. We did not have enough time to wait for the tour, but we saw other visitors just walking inside to the visitors area without paying. So we thought it was free entry and so we enter.

A few minutes later, jean called me and she was looking for me. So I told her to go in "it's free!" Then she wanted to go in and apparently, it wasn't free. So wahaha.. I got in blindly.. At least I din't get caught!

Visited Tate Modern, London yesterday.

Before that, do check out my croissant hair bun I did for the London trip. I was actually using the cam to check if my hair was neat from behind. Its a lil messy but I likey the messy hair bun.

Anyway back to the topic.

So what is Tate Modern??

It is the Home of International Art from 1900. Tate Modern reveals the sheer variety of international modern art, from Warhol's Self Portrait, Lichtenstein's Whaam! and Ai Weiwei's Sunflowers.

One of my favourite room is the POETRY AND DREAM. This room contains over 70 paintings and sculptures by the surrealists and their associates who prized the power of the unconcious and dreams. Artist: Georgi de Chirico and Jennis Lounellis, Surealism and Beyond, Elements of Chance, John Heartfield, Pablo PICASSO, Joseph Beuys, Lamia Joreige, Dark Humour, Realisms, Ai Wei Wei

When we reach Picadilly Circus, everyone was so exited bout shopping until we ended splitting up and no time for a single museum. I so sadsad. A fact bout Steve Jobs: He is one of the visionaries to create the Mac computer when he was 21 years old. 21 years old! i am gonna be 21 in a few months time and I am still seating here thinking what have I done in life that makes an impact to others just like this man?? nothing!! he is one man that made many lives happy.

Today I am gonna show you my very very very cool fridge magnet.

magnet was given to me by the UH Student Union. Photo was taken using photo booth. so the wordings are the other way round. Wanted to photoshop it. But this lazy design student here have not downloaded photoshop to her lappy. so just bare with me. Love that pic cause can see my eyes. wahahaha.. Btw I am actually wearing green contact lenses. Took the train for the first time from Hatfield Station to King's Cross to Picadilly Circus. *reminds me of Monopoly* Trains here are crazy confusing and I swear if i am going alone, i'll get missing. Probably land somewhere else in Europe. Im like the suckiest in directions so I doubt I will ever get it right. why cab so exp wann here!! For example the distance from klcc to pavillion is bout 15 pounds. After convert bout rm75. Krazyy!! ow gawdd and i do not understand why people like to rush like mad here. Probably rushing to be on time for everything. I swear when Im back to kl, Ill will never be late everrr...

To Cambridge

Head down to Cambridge for a day trip today. I think it is one of the best universities in the world. The place is filled with all the smart asses studying.

One week of Uni has gone by. Classes hasn't started yet but oh well.. Occupied myself with a few activities that were held in Uni. Ow and did I mention, I just started cooking! wahaha.. Sue Ann is cooking! Sue ann is cooking! Like I have a choice. lolzz.

University of Hertfordshire

As many of you all know I am in UK now to continue my studies. I arrived here last Saturday night. Crazy arrival at the airport I have to say. Thought I could use the trolly to carry my luggages to the bus but ended up there are NO TROLLY areas at the airports. I fucking swear airports in UK sucks for shitzz!!

Besides that when I arrive, hotlink ate up all my credit. Apparently it was because my 3g was not off. So never on your 3g when you head to overseas!

When I arrive at my accommodation, I was surprise my room is so small.

A picture of my room with a lil adjustments after I arrive. Notice the grandpapa bedsheet, pillow etc provided by the uni. I cant stand it! Besides that, when I arrive my internet connection for my room was unavailable. Wi- fi was not provided in my house and the internet cable was not working. Phone and computer internet not functioning means I did not had any source of communication!

After being upset bout so on.. I unpack my luggages. One of my luggage was pack with some food inside. Food packed by my mum :) She packed a small tupperwear of dried chilli (for cooking wann). Tupperwear was wrap with a plastic but sadly oil came out and got on to all my BRAs. I nearly died on my first night. I swear I will never ever eat chilli again!
